This service provides a resource for Seniors and/or family members to resolve problems (emotional or physical) and to help alleviate the stress associated with them. Though this service, Seniors are assisted to maximize the use of available services and resources to assure physical and emotional well being. Services are provided on an individual or group basis.

As we age, our nutritional needs change as well. Bridgeway Center Inc. provides monthly Nutritional Education programs at our meal sites to educate and provide guidance for our clients. These programs are designed to provide our Seniors with healthy choices to ensure their nutritional well-being and to continue a long and healthy lifestyle. Case Managers also can recommend nutritional counseling for our home bound clients as well to ensure they are receiving well balanced and regular meals. Nutritional assessments allow Case Managers to ensure any deficiencies are addressed and corrected.

This service is provided by Bridgeway Center, Inc. staff and volunteers. Our team makes calls to those individuals who have either requested this service or have been identified as benefiting from the service by a Case Manager. The purpose of the call is to ensure the individuals safety, promote social contact, and provide a friendly ear when needed.
